Suqaar Express is a family-owned and operated East African food truck based in San Jose, proudly serving the Silicon Valley Bay Area. Our mission is to share the rich flavors and traditions of East African and Somali cuisine with our community through fresh, authentic, and 100% halal food.
The name Suqaar comes from a beloved traditional East African dish made with finely cut, well-seasoned meat sautéed with vegetables and fragrant spices. This dish represents the heart of our cooking—simple ingredients, bold flavor, and a deep connection to culture and heritage.
At Suqaar Express, we prepare every dish using fresh ingredients, traditional spice blends, and time-honored recipes inspired by East African home cooking.
